Our STUDIO BOTANIC COLD CREAM (50 ml alu tube) is a real all-rounder: depending on what you require, you can use it for body and hands and also face. While the oils add extra moisture, smooth fine lines and combat inflammation, the vegan wax increases the skin’s natural protective function.

The carefully selected and well-dosed rose flower extract not only exudes a delicate, warm fragrance, but also has a calming, balancing and regenerating effect. In combination with the freshness of the peppermint oil creates the particularly delicate scent of the cream, which keeps in the background after application. In its pure naturalness the original scent reduces over time.

The effects of cold cream – also called “cerat de galien”- have been proven over hundreds of years, because it was not (unfortunately) invented by us, but by the Greek doctor Galenos. In the second century BC. Even then, the intense cold cream, originally composed of water, beeswax, olive oil and rose extract, was used to soothe dry hands.

Olive Oil:
Olive oil has a particularly high content of simple unsaturated fatty acids which have a positive effect on cell structure, amongst other aspects. It does not only have a moisturising effect, but is more generally considered as a remedy which can smooth small wrinkles. The Vitamin E included within has an anti-inflammatory effect which is particularly beneficial for the care of rough, cracked hands.

Vegan Wax:
High-quality, vegan waxes from carefully selected plants form a coherent film on the skin when applied. This film strengthens the protective function of your skin and thereby prevents damaging environmental influences. At the same time, the waxes ensure that your skin stays beautifully smooth for a long time. Another plus point is their smoothing effect, which makes small wrinkles disappear.

Rose Flower Extract:
Rose flower extract is a real allround talent. The light, sweet rose fragrance within is a great natural perfume. Rose flower extract also has regenerating, soothing and balancing effects. It also supplies the skin with moisture, keeps it pleasantly soft and silky, giving it vitality and elasticity and can prevent inflammation.

Vegan Glycerine:
Due to its moisture-binding effect, vegetable glycerine helps the skin to keep its moisture balance. This means that it not only moisturises, but also protects the skin from drying out. Because it penetrates deep into the skin, it doesn't wash off quickly, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple for longer.

Shea Butter:
For regenerative care. Shea butter comes from the nuts of the karite tree and is composed mainly of precious fatty acids such as stearic acid, linoleic acid or palmitic acid. It also contains antioxidative vitamin E and allantoin, which has anti-inflammatory and cell-regenerating effects, easing itching or skin redness. The nurturing butter also gives dry skin back its silkiness and regulates its moisture content.

Avocado Oil:
Due to its unique composition, the high-quality avocado oil is particularly well absorbed by the skin and supports the moisture balance of your hands in a long-lasting way. Vitamins A, E and D included within and the unsaturated fatty acids protect the cells from oxidative stress and support cell regeneration. The oil has an anti-inflammatory effect at the same time, and is therefore particularly suitable for the care of cracked, itchy hands.

Peppermint Oil:
Peppermint oil does not only keep the skin very smooth, but also has a pleasant fresh scent. It additionally has a slightly cooling effect and encourages circulation. Peppermint oil has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect and can therefore have a positive effect on irritated, cracked skin. The oil is used subtly that it is effective, but the scent remains in the background in a pleasant way.

Damit sie ihre volle Wirkungskraft entfalten kann, trägst du die Creme am besten auf die gereinigte Haut auf und massierst sie gründlich ein. 

A hazelnut-sized amount (approx. 1 ml) of the cream is sufficient for the hands.
 

Please do not store in an overheated place and note that the natural ingredients are most productive within 6 months of opening.

Auch, wenn die Creme nicht explizit als Gesichtscreme angelegt ist, kannst du sie bei Bedarf gerne im Gesicht anwenden. Gerade in der kalten Jahreszeit neigt die Haut des Gesichts zu Trockenheit und kann eine Extraportion Pflege gut gebrauchen
